You may or may not know, but last summer, in our previous incarnation as Prometheus Movie News, we published the world’s first Prometheus set pics to appear online. Soon after the images went online, we removed them after being contacted by Fox.
The movie’s been out for a little while now, and and these sets have since shown up in several official photos. While a couple of other sites archived our original, water-marked images, here, for old times’ sake, are the full resolution, non-watermarked originals from June 2011. Enjoy!

Here’s a couple of things you may have missed in the last week.
First up, Prometheus star Noomi Rapace spoke to Aftenposten about her role in the film. Courtesy of Google translator, which a little bit of clarification from Alien Prequel News:
“I play Elizabeth Shaw, researcher and archaeologist. She’s British but was raised in Africa because her father was a missionary. From him she learned to believe in God, and she has a strong inner self.
She is the most complete person I have ever played. She has an inner light. She’s very stubborn and determined.
She lost her parents when she was a child, so she’s been alone from a young age. But she’s very intelligent. I know that when one has to survive alone from an early age, one becomes strong.
But also fragile, because the hurt child within her hasn’t been able to evolve in a natural way. You get easily hurt emotionally. She’s full of hope, a dreamer, a little naive.
Halfway through the movie a lot of things happen and she turns into a fighter. Another part of her comes to life”

Next up, AvP Galaxy have couple more set pics to show. Including this one below, which appears to show an early version of the Weyland Yutani logo. You can see the rest here.

The folks at AVP Galaxy have been sent a couple of pictures that appear to show a re-creation of the Space Jockey’s chair from Alien, for use in Prometheus, confirming the/a Jockey’s appearance in some way or other.
You can see the photos below (until Fox get in touch, that is!) and see the original article here.
Hardly a surprise, but Fox have requested that we remove the images. You may still be able to find them online elsewhere.

The chaps at Alien Prequel News have scored a couple of exclusive photos showing a vehicle and set piece from Prometheus.
Below you can see some kind of truck, that could be glimpsed in the leaked screengrabs from the Comic-Con reel, part of a so-called ‘lifter’ machine, as seen on the edge of the only official still so far released, and another photo of the previously seen tunnel sets.
