New set photos and last minute casting rumour
I don’t know, after a quiet few days on the Prometheus front, I go away for a long weeekend and miss all the fun!
First up, it seems that the Pinewood leg of filming is over for Prometheus, and the fine folks over at Alien Prequel News have gotten their hands on some great shots of the – now appparently dismantled – sets, many pieces of which are heading to the Morocco location. The full set is here, but a selection is below.
Also, according to the home-town news paper of actor Patrick Wilson, the Watchmen star has been cast in on unspecified role in Prometheus. According to this article on their site:
“Wilson will need to leverage everything he’s learned from Shorecrest to a new role in the highly anticipated Alien prequel Prometheus (directed by original Alien auteur Ridley Scott) for his latest challenge — creating a rare TV drama success on Fridays.”
Hopefully we’ll get some confirmation and more details soon. Anyway, on with those photos (click to enbiggen!):
